Tell us about what you did prior to joining Applecart:
Prior to joining Applecart, I worked in digital communications and campaign development in house, on the agency side, and on the campaign trail. Most recently, I served as a digital campaign strategist on Novartis’ global communications team, and prior to that spent nearly four years at BCW Global, now Burson, building digital and paid media campaigns for healthcare and corporate clients.
Why did you decide to join Applecart?
Simply put, I joined Applecart because I believe in the product. After working in public affairs and communications my entire career, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been asked “How can we reach stakeholders online and actually know they’re seeing our content?” Our product allows us to do just that, and I think decision maker marketing is the exact answer many public relations, public affairs, communications, and digital strategists have been looking for their entire careers.
What is your favorite Applecart use-case?
Coming from pharma most recently, I’m excited to see how we can use our technology to reach healthcare professionals and other industry stakeholders to improve health outcomes and access to medicine for patients and people in need.
What should people outside of Applecart know about Applecart?
We’ve just begun to scratch the surface in ways clients can leverage our technology to drive true influence online. We’re most experienced in public affairs, advocacy, corporate, and brand communications campaigns, but are discovering new use-cases every day.
Give us your best fun fact:
I’ve lived on the East Coast twice now, but I’ll forever call the Midwest home. I grew up in Wisconsin, went to college in Ohio, married a guy from Iowa, and lived in Chicago before relocating outside of New York City in 2020.
